Do I really have that many?

Bf n i were havin a telecon n we talked about shoppin, naturally. I told him i haven't bought much of anythin for myself lately n told him i spent a total amount of RM81!! on his hair gel. That's 6 tubs of Gatsby, on 15% off. I wanted to faint.

Bf: Do u know how many pairs of shoes u have here in Melbourne? If i were to throw away some of ur shoes u wouldn't even notice.

Me: *squeal* How can u throw away my things?? cannot!! cannot!! *stomps the bed*

Bf: Do u know u have 17 pairs of shoes here in Melbourne? n dat's not including the boots u bought.

Me: *gag* Really ar? i got 17 pairs of shoes? got so many mer? but.. but a lot of them cannot wear one mar.. not i buy one.. my mummy buy one mar..

Bf: Yeah, all the same. dat's 17 pairs of shoes.. if u give it $20 a pair, it'll be $340..

(thinkin i bought some shoes from Melbourne n a pair would cost at least $50)

Me: My shoes got so cheap mer?

Bf: Okay lar, give u benefit of the doubt, $400 in total, u add the boots in, dat'll be about $600. $600 can buy a full set of my car bodykit already u know?

(mental calculation tells me dat my mid-calve boots are $150 n low-calve boots are $80, more than $200)

Me: Hey, more than $600 lar.. *oops, wrong move*

Bf: Ha, u see?

Me: WAIT! *suddenly recalls i have 2 more pairs of boots from e-bay* i got 4 pairs, 2 from Melbourne, 2 from e-bay..

Bf: Still dare say.. Really lor, if i threw some out u won't even notice..

Me: *half scream* U better not throw any of my shoes out, if not i make sure u buy me back more shoes!

n that concludes the end of my telecon on the blog, even tho there are still part 2 n 3s involvin his tyres being worth more value than my shoes if sold. "Can your shoes take you 10,000km?" he says.. how to compare??!?!

Do I really have dat many pairs of shoes in Melbourne? I only wear like.. i dunno, 4 pairs or so? n i don't even own dat many pairs of shoes in KL, my original home. it's so hard to believe. i know many of u have more shoes than i do, n maybe u girlz do throw out shoes dat won't do the job anymore.. i don't remember throwin out shoes dat i don't want, except the one time i threw out this shiny black n white PVC platform sneakers (there were so cool n nice back then!!).

never mind, i MUST go shoe-counting when i go back to Melbourne.

n also those in KL dat i have.. those dat i STILL wear. *^-^*

wat an idiot, isn't it clear that your dad doesn't like the supplier? didn't ur mum made it crystal dat she didn't like the supplier either? y do u still call him n ask for a quote? then call him again to confirm the quotes n everythin? so wat if u think dat supplier deserves a chance? so wat if the supplier is a good person but just doesn't know enough to make it in the business?

like wat Lena says in her blog: it's nothin personal, it's just business.
