Bright trip 2
oh, i forgot to add.. we asked around to see when the trees would be so bright n beautiful, n they told us dat the trees would only change its colours when the weather is cold n frosty.. wat a bummer..
Bright trip - Autumn Fest
i've just came back from Bright, about 300+km away from melbourne together with jacke n im dear cousin Im jie. it's a 3d 2n thingy, and we stayed at a caravan park in a town next to Bright - Porepunkah. it doesn't sound very nice yeah? but it is. the reason, the super main reason y we were there is becoz there was the Autumn Festival last weekend. plus it's a long weekend due to Anzac Day (monday)... the trees were supposed to be very colourful, sporting bright red, orange n yellow. http://www.brightautumnfestival.org.au/ here's the link, check it out. it's BEAUTIFUL!
it was warm in Bright, and we went up to the Mt Buffalo National Park to see some sights, went for walks (which were hectic considerin my poor stamina!), had a picnic and some barbies.. we were quite sick of bbq food at the end, coz we had like 2 bbq dinners n 1 bbq brekkie. yeesh.. all the beef, lamb n pork ribs doesn't seem all so tasty now.. oh, i haven't mentioned dat we had a shared bath n toilet. it wasn't an ensuite caravan, so we had to walk like for 3 minutes to get to the toilet. there was this time in the morning at 5:30am, i was so cold i wanted to pee, but i endured.. ahhaahha then jacke woke up 6am to pee becoz it was cold too.. kekeke it was really fun, the sun shining, the trees full of colour, full of life, n there were a lot of fallen leaves, just like wat autumn should be like. n we took a lot of pictures.. ah.. hehe, n Im jie n jacke said i was kiasu, for takin so many pictures of the coloured trees n leaves n all.. u guyz should've seen it, the place wasn't as coloured as wat the pictures seemed, some trees were red n orange, then a lot others were still green! we had to make quick stops at places where there were super coloured trees.. hehe, then i was called kiasu.. until the time when there was this small super reddy-orangy tree on the side of the road, with like at least 4 ppl takin pictures of it.. n they had these really professional lookin cameras with the tripods n everythin.. hah!
there was this walk in the national park on the hottest day when we were there, then we had to walk uphill n everythin, the walk took 1.5 hours. phew.. i tell u.. we walked all the way up to the Horn, saw some other mountains, took a rest then came back down again. the 2nd walk was in Bright itself, near the river. it's called the Canyon walk, also 1.5 hours. we were thinkin, well, the Horn walk wasn't TOO bad, the canyon walk should be alright.. wow, i tell u, Im jie had this stamina to just go on n on, we had to stop so many times to catch our breathe.
anyway, on the last day, we went to an apple farm, bought some juice n hazelnut (in it's original nut where u have to crack it open). then we went pass another farm where the gates weren't locked, n picked some apples together with some chestnuts dat were on the floor.. keke being small-time thieves.. then we went to see the autumn craft n art store, set up in the local town hall, nothin much really, but we bought some cute flour animals.. will show u with pictures later on. then we went to wineries, olive farms, cheese factory where we had lunch. we did everythin there was to do.. oh, we didn't go to the walnut farm tho, fresh walnuts have this.. really... erm.. not so nice taste. after all those we headed home.. hehe, n comin back to melbourne was so so so cold.. brbbbrrr.... will load up pix as soon as i get home, n paid rent 1st.. hehe

bz bz..
sorry guyz, i have been quite bz.. doin nothin.. hehe, well.. let me update u guyz on my lovely life. after the easter break, i went back to uni (FINALLY!) on the 1st wednesday after about 3... 4.. weeks not attending? then i was late, i parked, went for 1st hour of sport n the law, some new lecturer talkin about physioterapists.. n we were doin stretches n stuffs in the lecture theatre.. weird huh? well, honestly i haven't seen this lecturer before, don't even know wat happened to my Danny Devito look-alike lecturer.. uhm.. oh well.. it was a fun claz.. despite still havin no idea wat dat topic was for.. we don't have lecture notes for this subject n can only rely on study guide (which i've flipped only once before, check to see if there were misprints etc before buyin) and the textbook, which i haven't bought coz it costs a fortune.. (just lil less than AUD100) then after 20 mins late for my 2nd claz, i went to the building which the claz was held.. went to the claz, n no one was there! gosh, i have only been to this claz once, n they had attendances taken.. n it was about.. week 5? oh well.. then i decided to go back to the lab to go online since my darlin isn't home yet. after my 'claz' had finished n i went home. i saw a pink sheet on the windscreen of my car n 'sheeeeeeeeeeeeet, it's a parkin infringement notice'... for a bloody AUD61!!! for PARKING ON A NATURE STRIP! damn.. it wasn't the 1st time i parked there.. i've seen other ppl parkin there.. without a ticket on the windscreen. darned.. i'm gonna contest to dat ticket.. but haven't done so.. n it's.... about a week, or was it 2 weeks ago? so much for being a good girl n go to claz... sheesh.. is this wat i get for goin to claz? guess it's only me.. 2nd parkin ticket on uni grounds so far.. hooray for the ticket collector~
jacke n i have rearranged the room furniture and livin room furniture. so now both rooms look so much more spacious.. n clean.. it was until we further decluttered our room, put all the idling stuffs towards the wall.. n voila! both doors to my wardrobe are blocked.. i can now only get into my wardrobe by goin into jacke's one-door wardrobe.
we've got the internet put on routers.. yay!! so now we can all go online at the same time.. don't have to wait for jacke to finish his web-car-surfin-n-updatin-his-knowledge-on-all-cars-in-australia. don't get it? okay, let me put it this way. jacke is so into cars, dat he knows how long this particular bmw has been for sale, how much the price dropped since it came on sale; wat happened to the car dat he sold to the english fella, how much he sold it for and even wat car the english fella bought. not enough? alright, he logs into his German Car Club Victoria - GCCV, now renamed Euro CCV, gets the goss who sells wat, reads ALL the new posts, visits ALL the sites recommended by members AND THEN, this is the best part.. tells me about who did wat, who said wat.... well, now u get it.
we got on a drive organised by the ECCV on the sunday, 10th of April. it was supposed to be a cruise down south, with about 40 ppl signing up to go, lots of bmws, mercs, volks, peugeots, n so on. on dat day itself, there were only about.. 20 cars? with quite a few bimmers, 1 merc, about 3 volks, 1 peugeot n 2 holdens! holdens are the local australian made cars, with some not too bad designs, some with crazy totally unnecessary power (some holden sedans have 4..5 litre engines..). ronald drove his new E30, n jacke brought his bimmer. quite surprisingly, jacke's car was more done up than any other cars we've seen dat day. a lot of ppl take pictures, n jacke did a lil bit of socializing. the cruise started with about 60kmph normal drivin, until everybody caught up being away from the traffic. then the scary part started, everybody began to drive about 100kmph on windy roads, goin unto narrow roads n even sandy untarred ones.. which was crazy becoz we were expecting to relax.. there was nothin to be relaxed about! jacke was so nervous, he kept quiet most of the way while drivin n sweated n dried his hands with the not too cold air outside. it was a hot day, not much cold air intake n jacke was worried dat his car wouldn't be able to make it. luckily it did..eh eh there was one fella michael who drove his green 7 series bimmer, n guess wat.. jacke knows the previous owner of the car.. gosh, think the world is small? nah, it doesn't really apply to this context. n just today while we were walkin to dinner, we saw alex, who was at the drive, he drives a volks golf, numberplate WRCPUG. keke okay, i guess this must be boring to u guyz, but i've already yakked so much. on to the next topic.
jacke's papa is in melbourne! he arrived yesterday mornin.. supposedly 6am, so we woke up about 6, got to the airport about 6:50, then only picked him up at about 8am. gosh, the wait was so long.. n our necks were really as long as giraffes.. now iknow wat it means.. u keep stretching ur neck to look thru the crowds for chan papa, so often n for so long.. it makes ur neck longer.. so as long as the giraffes.. we set up a bed for him beside ours, yes.. in our room.. weird huh.. bo pian.. but i would say, this is the 1st time i've spent so much time with him n he talked so much! it was fun.. he's so cool n so cute.. hehe i'm not just sayin this becoz he might be my potential FIL... father-in-law.. but it's the fact, he's cool n cute.. eheh a lot of ppl say so too.. ;P we went to philip island.. n then to the penguin parade (AGAIN!!) gosh, i wanna double bold it.. this is the 3rd time i've been there.. payin AUD16 per entry. it sucks.. but we've bought a return visitor's pass.. which costs AUD5.. entitles me to go to the penguin parade again within 6 months for free.. only 1 entry.. n it has my signature on it, so it's not transferable.
oh oh.. i forgot about my school fees.. supposed to be due 15th april, i haven't paid.. will do tmr.. hope there's no penalty. darned it if it does. wish me luck!
okay lar.. write again another time lar.. so sian liao.. summore 5+am liao.. byez pplz..
