friday shoppin trip :D

i've been sleepin a lot again today.. went shoppin with mq n jacke yesterday. i was lookin for this particular pair of shoes, which i saw quite a few weeks ago but not available in my size. we went to the city, as yesterday was friday, city shoppin day (shops close at 9pm, HEAVEN!). we had our late lunch, then proceeded to Miryoku to hunt for a bag. i wanted to get a handbag dat could fit everythin in, which my current nice handbags wouldn't do, n i wanted somethin dat was more of a harder material. jacke suggested dat i buy a bag dat i could bring to work in the near future. so we decided on this.. n i've got some discount! it was $69.95, now slashed to $59.50. not a bad buy at all, i'd say..



after dat, i continued hunting for my shoes, n along the way met some really nice pumps as well.. i didn't have time to really choose wat i wanted n asked the salesgirl to get it for me, coz i acutally made a promise to jacke today before we went out.. buy only THAT particular pair of shoes i wanted, n a bag. dat was all i was allowed to see!!! oh, imagine my agony.. ehhe anyway, mq called in las minute to say she wanted to join us, coz she wanted my opinion on the new perfume she saw on a magazine from L'ocittance. she commented dat this was the 1st ever time she ever saw anythin she wanted from a magazine.. quite unbelievable.. coz there are so little things in the magazine dat i don't want! haha, just a shopaholic i guess.. we continued to walk around the city, down to Officeworks to get some rulers n a file for my notes to bring in to exam (now only get.. :P) n a cuppa bubble tea to quench my thirst. it was only enough to wet my throat, actually.. i was talkin n talkin n talkin to both of them so much, i was so so thirsty i could drink a lake! hehe, dat's wat ppl say, isn't it?

well anyway, we got down to Melbourne Central (again!) n went straight to L'ocittance to have a go at the perfume. there was the Green Tea EDT and the Green Tea with Mint EDT. the one with the mint was new, altho both bottles arrived in the store about 3 weeks ago. we took quite a long time to decide.. i've gotten mq one of the Green Tea perfume balms, which she loved, but felt it wasn't strong enough. Green Tea with Mint smelled lighter initially, with a hint of mint while Green Tea was stronger n sweeter. a while later, both became a lot stronger, with the Green Tea with Mint smelling more of freshly cut grass in the morning! it was nice, but the 'grassy' smell was too strong to take, resulting my mq choosin the Green Tea EDT at the end. mq also bought a wipe-off mask from the shop, gettin the bill up to 89+.. but there was a promotion on which says with $99 purchase, u'll get a free bag of somethin. haha being suckers for freebies.. n about just 10 bucks more, y not?? we browsed around for more things, not even lookin at the not-so-fragrant lip balm costing $12.95, mq moved to the soap section n got some soap. the sales lady had a really really nice face, evidence of the miracle of the products. we commented her on it n mq happily paid for the 3 items costing her about $100+. when asked if she felt happy buyin things of such price, mq replied no. i would, i know i would.. ^-^ kia kia kia.. devilish laugh.. how would one not feel happy spending dat amount of money on good products? it's not like we don't have dat kind of money.. so y not? it's once in a while anyway.. the day ended with mq being at my place again for the night.. :)
